SZA & Kendrick Lamar: The Powerhouse Duo
From coming up under the same label, Top Dawg Entertainment, to becoming house hold names in their own right, SZA and Kendrick Lamar are now preparing to hit the road for The Grand National Tour. The former label mates announced their co-headlining concert tour shortly after the release of Lamars sixth studio album, GNX, which includes two collaborations with SZA. While they are no strangers to working together on musical projects, this marks the first time they will be promoting a tour together. Originally set for 23 shows starting in April 2025, the tour has expanded due to overwhelming demand, with additional dates now added.
Kendrick Lamar, 17 time Grammy winner, Emmy Award and Pulitzer Prize winner, one of the greatest rappers of all time. SZA, 4 time Grammy winner, Golden Globe and Academy Award nominee, and one of the best songwriters of this generation. There’s no doubt, they are The Powerhouse Duo. Just when you think it can’t get any better, it does.
Kendrick Lamar was announced to be The Super Bowl LIX halftime show headliner back in September, sending hip-hop fans into a frenzy. Set to take place on February 9th, the hype and excitement continues to build for the hip-hop mogul. Lamar has kept quiet since the announcement, leading fans to speculate about potential guest appearances, setlist’s, and production details. However, with just over a week to go before he takes the stage, he has officially announced that SZA will join him as a special guest on one of the year's most anticipated stages.
From the Super Bowl stage to stadiums around the world, Kendrick Lamar and SZA are set to dominate the music scene once again—reminding the world: 'They not like us, they not like us, they not like us.'
